Wednesday November 18, 2020 – The PGA Tour is heading to Sea Island Resort in St. Simons, GA for the RSM Classic this week. St. Simons is just 200 miles south of Augusta. Or, about a 30-minute PJ flight, 3.5-hour drive, or 5-day walk. You get the point; it’s not fuc*ing far.

So, even with the Masters finishing up on Sunday, the field is pretty strong. Logistics.

If you’re looking for some action this weekend, here are some names you’ll recognize: Webb Simpson (10-1), Tyrrell Hatton (18-1), Sungjae Im (20-1), Tommy Fleetwood (22-1), Jason Day (33-1), Kevin Kisner (35-1), and Justin Rose (40-1). *Odds via William Hill

Hosted by the Davis Love Foundation, the RSM Classic has a unique setup.

With 156-players in the field, guys will be split between two courses – Seaside and Plantation – on Thursday and Friday before finishing up on the Seaside course over the weekend. Both tracks are relatively short at 7,005 and 7,060 yards respectively. What they lack in distance, they make up for in scenery.

With the shorter yardage, expect the winner to be somewhere around 20-under. The past 3 winners – Tyler Duncan, Charles Howell III, and Austin Cook – finished at -19, -19, and -21 respectively.

Players will be competing for full FedExCup points and a purse of $6.6M. For comparison, that’s 57% of what the Masters offered last weekend.
