PGA Tour

Tuesday April 27, 2021 – We’re kind of in that “between majors” lull; Augusta was a treat and Kiawah will surely not disappoint. So, it’s not groundbreaking to say that any event sandwiched between the two faces an uphill battle for attention.

Enter the Valspar Championship.

While it doesn’t get us all hot and bothered, it’s still host to a relatively strong field. After all, the money is still green and the FedExCup points still count.

In total, seven of the top twenty in the Official World Golf Rankings are scheduled to tee it up this week at Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course, including Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, and 2x reigning champ, Paul Casey.

Not sure who to pick? Don’t overthink it (we sure aren’t). Paul Casey will three-peat*. So far in 2021, Paul’s notched a European Tour victory as well as four Top 10 finishes in eight PGA Tour starts.

* Or, since he’s our pick, miss the cut. Whatever, we’re trying.
